Complementary Gaming
Our Pledge to Responsible Gaming
JQK Malaysia believes in online gaming as a form of amusement and recreation. But we also know that for a small fraction of players, gaming is no longer pleasant and has become a problem. We are committed to supporting responsible gaming and empowering our users with the tools, resources and support to play safely and responsibly.
Preventing Underage Gambling
JQK Malaysia strongly prohibits anyone under the age of 18 to establish an account or play. We carry out strict age verification checks during registration and withdrawal. If we find that an account has been opened by a minor, the account will be canceled immediately and all winnings will be lost. We urge parents to use internet filtering software to keep their children away from gambling sites.
Control Matters Tips for Play Safe
To ensure you have a great gaming experience, we urge you adhere to the following guidelines:
- View online gaming as a source of leisure and not as a way to earn a living or pay off debts.
- Before you start playing, establish a firm budget and adhere to it.
- Never run for your loses. If you reach your limit, stop playing.
- Monitor the time and money you are spending on the platform.
- Under no circumstances should you gamble if you are worried, depressed, drunk or high.
- Remember to do other things in life.
Self Assessment Questionnaire
If you are worried that you may have a gambling problem, ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you gamble instead of going to job or school?
- Do you gamble to escape a dull or sad life?
- Do you lose all your money when you bet, feel lost and despairing and need to gamble again as soon as you can?
- Do you hide the amount of money or time you spend gambling because you lie?
- Have you ever borrowed money, stolen it or lied to get money to gamble or pay gambling debts?
If you replied "yes" to more than a few of these questions, you may have a gambling problem. See a specialist please.
Tools Player Protection
JQK Malaysia offers numerous account options to help you stay in control:
- Deposit Limits: You can also set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limitations restricting how much money you can put into your account.
- Session Time restrictions: Place warnings or restrictions on how long you can be logged in for one session.
- Cooling-Off Period: Need a brief break? You can suspend your account temporarily between 24 hours and 6 weeks.
- Self-Exclusion: To be more serious, you can request to be self-excluded. This will lock your account for at least 6 months to a permanent ban. In this period you will not get any promotional material from us and we will take reasonable steps to prevent you starting a new account.
Seeking Professional Help
If you or someone you know is having a problem with gambling, please contact professional organizations that offer free, discreet help and therapy. We don’t have a specific local group that we are affiliated with, however there are worldwide organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy which have a wealth of information and support networks.
